The Aquaracer model series from TAG Heuer stands for professional diving instruments whose history is deeply rooted in the construction of heavy-duty timepieces. As a consistent further development of its predecessors, the reference WAY201A.BA0927 for uncompromising reliability under extreme maritime conditions. The design meets all the requirements for extreme pressure resistance, underpinning the demand for a reliable tool for sporting and professional use.
Caliber & Technology
Inside the housing, the mechanical Calibre 5 with automatic winding. The tried-and-tested movement operates with a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 38 hours. To ensure maximum precision even under mechanical stress, the movement is equipped with an Incabloc shock protection system. A precise quick-change date function completes the technical profile of this reliable movement.
Case & Material
The solidly constructed housing made from brushed and polished Stainless steel measures exactly 43 mm in diameter. The architecture is designed for a water resistance of up to 30 ATM designed. A key functional element is the unidirectional rotating diver's bezel with an inlay of scratch-resistant black Ceramics. The screw-down case back made of Stainless steel is adorned with a detailed diver's helmet engraving, while the dial is finished with an anti-reflective coating. Sapphire crystal is protected.
Aesthetics & Readability
The black dial is characterized by a horizontal horizontal stripe design, which gives the face of the watch a clear visual depth. The generously sized, applied indices and the faceted hands are decorated with Super-LumiNova This ensures excellent readability even in complete darkness. The instrument design is complemented by a date magnifier positioned on the glass and a second hand with a contrasting colored tip.
