The NOMOS GLASHÜTTE Tangente 100 years of Bauhaus Jeweler OEKE is a special edition that combines the classic design of NOMOS with the aesthetic clarity and functional minimalism of the Bauhaus school. The limited to 250 pieces celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus and will be presented in a unique Special Edition which combines the elegant, timeless design of the Tangente with a modern homage to the historic art school.
Caliber & Technology
The clock is driven by the Manufacture caliber Alpha, a Hand-wound caliber with a Power reserve of 43 hours. The Alpha caliber ensures that the watch provides reliable timekeeping, with the Côtes de Genève and Perlage are visible inside the watch, underlining the masterful workmanship and craftsmanship of NOMOS GLASHÜTTE.
Housing & processing
The 35 mm stainless steel housing has a clear, geometric shape that fits perfectly into the Bauhaus design. The polished surface and the precisely machined Chamfers make the housing shine in a noble gloss. The Simple elegance of the watch is accentuated by the striking red hand of the small second hand.
Aesthetics & readability
The dial in the classic white Bauhaus design is reduced to the essentials: clear lines, easy-to-read indices and a perfect balance between form and function. The Black hands stand out clearly from the dial, which makes it easier to read the time, while the Subtlety of the watch perfectly reflects the minimalist design aspirations of the Bauhaus school.
