Design and housing architecture
The present PAM00104 represents the DNA of Officine Panerai in its purist form of the modern era. The striking Bettarini case with a diameter of 44 mm is made of highly polished stainless steel and features the iconic, patented crown guard. The solid lugs and characteristic cushion shape give the reference a masculine presence on the wrist, while the polished bezel forms the transition to the flat, 3.5 mm thick sapphire crystal.
Dial and functionality
The deep black dial has a classic „painted dial“ design. The Arabic numerals and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, which guarantees excellent legibility in all lighting conditions. The small seconds at the 9 o'clock position and the characteristic Cyclops magnifying glass above the date at 3 o'clock, which is cut in below the glass, deserve special attention. Inside, the caliber Panerai OP III, The watch is equipped with a chronometer-certified automatic movement based on the Valjoux 7750-P1, which impresses with a power reserve of approx. 42 hours and a frequency of 28,800 A/h.
Condition and accessories
These PAM00104 from 2007 is in a very well-kept condition with only barely visible signs of wear. The edges of the case are sharp and the finish of the surfaces is immaculately preserved. The set includes the original box and the official papers, which underlines the collector's value of this classic.
