The Reference IW376710 marks a significant era in IWC's diving watch history. The 44 mm case made from satin-finished and polished Stainless steel looks present without neglecting ergonomics. The striking, unidirectional rotating outer bezel is a technical highlight. It has a 4 mm wide inlay made from Sapphire crystal, whose underside is covered with six layers of Super-LumiNova is coated. This guarantees scratch resistance and night-time readability that enjoys benchmark status in this segment. The patented IWC quick-change system allows the bracelet to be changed without tools, which underlines the versatility of this timepiece.
Caliber & Precision
The drive is powered by the proven Caliber 79320, a chronograph movement designed for robustness and ease of maintenance. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a Power reserve of 44 hours. IWC subjects these movements to a strict regimen in order to achieve chronometer-like rate values. In addition to the stop function for time intervals of up to 12 hours, the movement offers a day of the week and date display that is harmoniously integrated at 3 o'clock.
Aesthetics & details
The dial in deep navy blue with a fine Sunburst finish corresponds perfectly with the blue sapphire crystal bezel. The totalizers for the Small second and the chronograph counters are subtly contrasting in color (Ardoise), which makes them easier to read. Despite being over a decade old, this watch is in a very good condition. unworn condition, which makes it a rarity for collectors.
