The Reference IW356805 marks a technically significant evolutionary stage in the Aquatimer line. Made from solid Stainless steel, the housing with a diameter of 44 mm a solid presence on the wrist. A design highlight of this generation is the external, unidirectional rotating bezel. Its inlay consists of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the underside of which is multi-layered with Super-LumiNova which guarantees indestructible luminosity and readability of the dive time. The pressure resistance is guaranteed up to extreme 200 bar (2000 meters), a value that is far above the requirements of professional saturation diving.
Caliber & Precision
Inside the solid stainless steel housing, the tried and tested Caliber 30110 its service. This mechanical automatic movement is known for its robustness and ease of maintenance. Equipped with a Incabloc shock protection and a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, it offers precise timekeeping and a Power reserve of 42 hours. The date is jumping and has a quick correction function.
Aesthetics & details
The white dial offers maximum visual contrast to the black indices and sapphire crystal bezel. The design is strictly monochrome and deliberately dispenses with the colored 15-minute scales of other references. The only exception is the yellow lace of the central second hand, which serves as a function indicator. The Finissage of the hands and indices is functional and cleanly executed. A key feature of this reference is the patented IWC quick-change system for the bracelet, which allows it to be changed or shortened without tools. This model is presented as a Full Set from the year 2011.
