Concept & Heritage
The Lange 1 time zone transfers the decentralized aesthetics of the brand icon to a cosmopolitan application. With the reference 116.025 presented A. Lange & Söhne in the year 2005 a travel watch that combines intuitive operation with Saxon precision watchmaking. In contrast to conventional GMT models, the rotating city ring allows the time zone to be assigned immediately. The design in Platinum represents the most exclusive version of this reference and underlines its high collector's value.
Caliber & Technology
The elaborately finished manufacture caliber works inside Caliber L031.1. It has two barrels that provide a Power reserve of 72 hours guarantee. The time zone mechanism allows the city ring to be advanced by pressing the pusher at 8 o'clock, synchronizing the hour hand of the small dial. Typical for Glashütte are the Three-quarter board made of natural nickel silver, screw-mounted gold chatons and the Hand-engraved balance cock with Gooseneck fine adjustment.
Housing & materiality
The housing made of solid Platinum measures 41.9 mm in diameter and impresses with its specific weight and cool shine. Polished bezels contrast with the satin-finished middle section. The pushers for correcting the Key date and the time zone are harmoniously integrated. The sapphire crystal back allows the Finissage of the plant, including the Glashütte stripes and the Perlage, in detail.
Aesthetics & readability
The solid silver dial (Rhodié color) preserves the clear architecture of the Lange 1. The main dial shows the home time, while the sub-dial at 5 o'clock shows the zone time. Both time displays have their own day/night indicators. The characteristic Large date is linked to the home time. Thanks to the Service 2026 the watch is visually and technically in immaculate condition.
