The Admiral's Cup collection has represented the maritime DNA of the Corum brand since 1960. With this reference 753.935.06/0371AN52 the iconic dodecagonal case design is transferred into a modern, masculine dimension. With a limited edition of 750 copies this model underlines the claim to exclusivity. The characteristic nautical pennants on the dial are executed here in a monochrome version, which lends the timepiece a technical rigor. It is an instrument that was designed for professional use and is characterized by the 48 mm case develops a dominant presence on the wrist.
Caliber & Technology
The drive is provided by the Caliber CO 753, a COSC-certified chronometer movement based on the highest precision. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 A/h and offers a power autonomy of approx. 48 hours. After a complete service in the year 2026 the mechanics are technically flawless. Amplitude and rate values correspond to the specifications of a freshly overhauled chronometer. The chronograph mechanism is controlled by pushers that provide precise tactile feedback and are protected by a rubber side guard.
Housing & construction
The voluminous housing is made of lightweight Titanium. Despite the diameter of 48 mm high wearing comfort and corrosion resistance. The characteristic twelve-sided bezel and the screw-down case back made of Titanium ensure a watertightness of 30 ATM (300 meters). The choice of material is complemented by a vulcanized rubber strap that fits seamlessly to the lugs and completes the functional aesthetics of the „all-black“ design.
Aesthetics & readability
The dial design prioritizes clear legibility despite the chronograph totalizers. The indices and hands are coated with luminous material, which ensures functionality in poor lighting conditions. The date display is discreetly positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock. A special detail of this set is the enclosed ballpoint pen, which also serves as an adjustment tool - an indication of the attention to detail in the scope of delivery. Visually, the timepiece is in a very good state of preservation with only marginal traces of the history of the watch. 2009 do justice to them.
