The Reference 116710LN marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the GMT-Master II and has achieved collector's status since its discontinuation in 2019. As the first model in stainless steel to be equipped with the bidirectional Cerachrom bezel it redefined haptics and scratch resistance. The 40 mm case made from corrosion-resistant Oystersteel is in an excellent state of preservation; the flanks are sharp, the chamfers clearly defined. Contrasting with the deep black of the bezel and dial, the GMT hand in green provides a subtle but striking accent - a discreet tribute to the anniversary of the model series. The appliqués on the Maxi-Dial are with Chromalight which guarantees long-lasting blue luminescence and perfect readability.
Caliber & Origin
Inside, the tried-and-tested manufacture caliber 3186 its service. Technically, the movement impresses with its paramagnetic blue Parachrom coil spring, which ensures high resistance to temperature fluctuations and vibrations. The rate accuracy meets the strict requirements of COSC certification. The solid Oyster bracelet with polished center links has the Oysterlock safety folding clasp including the 5 mmEasylink extension for optimum wearing comfort. The provenance of this piece is particularly noteworthy: with the first sale date 2019 the watch comes from the final production phase of this reference („Last Batch“) and was LC100 (Germany), which massively increases the appeal for sophisticated collections.
