Concept & History
The Classic Fusion draws on the design language of the first Hublot models. In 2012, the Classic Fusion Ultra-Thin Skeleton was introduced, featuring the newly developed HUB1300 caliber. A year later, the Classico Ultra-Thin with a solid dial followed. The reference 515.NX.2210.LR is the titanium version with a white dial. The design emphasizes minimalism: two hands extending from the center, a small seconds hand, and no date. This particular watch was first sold in January 2020.
Caliber & Technology
Inside, the watch is powered by the hand-wound HUB1300 caliber. Hublot developed the movement in-house. It is just 2.9 mm thick. The caliber consists of 130 individual components. The gear train is supported by 23 jewels. The balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (A/h), or 3 Hz. The power reserve is 90 hours. When fully wound, the watch will run for more than three days. The design does not include a rotor, which keeps the overall height low. The sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the bridges, winding wheels, and balance wheel.
Case & Material
The case measures 45 mm in diameter. It is made of titanium. Polished and satin-finished surfaces alternate. Six H-shaped screws are set into the bezel. Sapphire crystal protects the dial and movement. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar. The crown bears the brand logo. The original black rubber strap fastens with a folding clasp. The watch has been worn. It is in very good condition.
Aesthetics & Readability
The white dial has a glossy lacquer finish. Faceted applied hour markers indicate the hours. A double hour marker is positioned at 12 o’clock. The polished hands are reminiscent of early Hublot models. The small seconds sub-dial is off-center at 7 o’clock. Black line markers delineate the sub-dial. The contrast between the white background and the black printing enhances readability. The lettering is limited to the logo, brand name, and “Swiss Made.” This keeps the dial uncluttered, giving the large face a clean, well-defined appearance.
