The current reference 220.12.40.20.06.001 transforms this purely functional requirement into the modern age. Unlike historical models, which relied on soft iron cages, the resistance here is achieved using non-magnetic alloys in the movement itself. This technical evolution positions the model as a robust alternative within the Seamaster collection.

This Railmaster is currently one of the most underrated models on the market. While comparable Omega technology often costs well over €5,000, this model offers an entry into the world of Master Chronometers at a price that is otherwise only available for standard movements.
Technology & condition
The built-in Caliber 8806 is identical to movements in much more expensive Seamaster models: Anti-magnetic up to 15,000 gauss, METAS-certified and extremely robust. The watch comes from 2020, is in mint stock condition (NOS) and comes in a complete full set.
Aesthetics & wearing comfort
The gray dial with a vertical cut gives the watch a technical toolwatch character. The original textile strap ensures maximum comfort and lightness.
Tip: Thanks to the standard lug width of 20 mm, this watch can be perfectly combined with any leather or NATO strap to completely change the look.
