Maurice Lacroix Les Classiques Phases de Lune Stahl/Gelbgold – Ref. LC6068-YS101-13E
Concept & History
The Les Classiques Phases de Lune was introduced in 2010. It expanded the Les Classiques line to include a full calendar with a moon phase. Maurice Lacroix offered the model in stainless steel and as a two-tone version. Ref. LC6068-YS101-13E is the two-tone version with an 18-karat yellow gold bezel. In 2012, the brand redesigned the model series. This particular watch features the design of the original version. The original sale date is unknown. There is no service history available.
Caliber & Technology
The case houses the automatic caliber ML 37. It is based on the ETA 2824-2 and features an additional calendar module. The movement has 25 jewels. The frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour, which corresponds to 4 Hz. It displays the hour, minute, and central seconds. It also displays the day of the week, month, pointer date, and moon phase. The calendar displays are set using recessed adjusters on the side of the case. The date does not appear in a window; instead, a central hand points to the circumferential date scale.
Case & Material
The case is made of stainless steel and measures 40 mm in diameter. The sides are satin-finished, and the lugs are polished. The smooth bezel is crafted from 18-karat yellow gold. The case back is engraved with “Steel/Gold Bezel 18K 750.” An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial. The steel case back is solid. The watch is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 m). The crown bears the brand logo. The watch is worn on a brown leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. The watch shows visible, well-maintained signs of wear. Its condition corresponds to the “Good / Worn” category.
Aesthetics & Readability
The silver-colored dial has a matte finish and is divided into concentric zones. Applied, gold-colored baton hour markers indicate the hours. The hands are also gold-colored. The day of the week and month are displayed in two windows below the brand logo. The date scale runs as a ring with odd-numbered dates. An arrow-tipped hand indicates the current day. The moon phase window is located at 6 o’clock. The blue disc of the moon phase display features a gold-colored moon and stars. The clear division separates the time from the calendar, ensuring excellent readability despite the four additional displays. The watch comes with the original box and paperwork.
