Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date - Reference 1-36-03-03-02-31
The Senator Excellence marks a technical turning point in Saxon watchmaking. While the exterior is classically restrained, the interior of the Reference 1-36-03-03-02-31 one of the most modern and powerful automatic movements in the current collection. This piece dates from 2022 and is in unworn new-old-stock condition.
The caliber 36: Saxon high performance
The heart of this watch is the Manufacture caliber 36-03. Glashütte Original redefines stability and precision. Through the use of a Silicon spiral the oscillation system is insensitive to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations. Thanks to an optimized mainspring, a single barrel generates a massive Power reserve of 100 hours (over 4 days).
A special design feature is the bayonet suspension of the movement in the case - a technique that is usually found in instrument watches and ensures extreme shock resistance. The rotor, which is visible through the sapphire crystal case back, is skeletonized and features the typical 21-carat gold oscillating weight.
Large date and dial architecture
The dial has a finely grained silver-grey lacquered surface. The laser-cut, galvanic black indices and blued hands ensure optimum contrast. At 4 o'clock is the patented Panorama date. In contrast to conventional large date displays, the two date disks here are concentric on one level, which eliminates the annoying center bar and guarantees maximum readability.
Case and Certification
Das 42-mm-Edelstahlgehäuse kombiniert polierte und satinierte Flächen. Jede Senator Excellence durchläuft in der Manufaktur einen 24-tägigen Härtetest, der über die strengen COSC-Normen hinausgeht. Die Ergebnisse dieses Tests sind für dieses Exemplar über das beiliegende Zertifikat dokumentiert.
