The Reference 8992 embodies the technical essence of the partnership between Chopard and the legendary „Mille Miglia“ road race. This model focuses uncompromisingly on functionality and readability under dynamic conditions. The 42 mm stainless steel case features a fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale that enables precise measurement of average speeds. The black dial is characterized by striking luminous indices and the typical arrangement of the totalizers at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock. A central GMT hand also allows a second time zone to be recorded - a complication that significantly expands the range of applications for this chronograph.
Caliber and condition
Inside is a robust automatic movement with COSC chronometer standard, based on the proven Valjoux architecture. It offers a reliable power reserve and a date magnifier for quick readability. The watch was awarded the 2018 one service, which ensures its technical integrity. Despite the first sale date of 2007, the timepiece shows hardly any visible signs of wear, which indicates that it was handled with care by the previous owner. The package comes as Full Set, including the original box and papers, which is crucial for collectors in terms of provenance and value retention.
