The Mido Multifort Special Edition, Reference M005.430.37.051.02, is a modern interpretation of the line introduced in 1934, which is visually inspired by the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The most striking feature of this 42 mm timepiece is the dial with its deep, vertical Geneva strip (Côtes de Genève), which refract the light differently depending on the angle of incidence. The combination of the completely PVD-coated The stainless steel case in black and the hands and indices in bright orange give the watch a sporty, aggressive contrast. The watch with Super-LumiNova coated elements guarantee excellent readability even in poor lighting conditions. The likewise black Rehaut seamlessly integrates the minute track and enhances the visual depth under the anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Reliable mechanics with Day-Date
Inside, the tried-and-tested Swiss automatic movement ETA 2836-2 its service. In addition to the time display, it offers a useful day-date complication at 3 o'clock, with the day and date perfectly integrated into the dark dial design by means of black discs. The movement operates at 28,800 semi-oscillations and has a shock protection system that meets the robust requirements of the Multifort line. This model from 2011 comes as a Full Set including the original box and papers.
